Hi from The Goat
Hi everyone, The Goat here. Just bought a SuperCut 50 and couldn't be happier. Oleg helped out and made everything real easy. By trade I'm a mechanic (helicopters, roller coasters, cars, etc.) but I build custom cars in my free time. I've been barking up the plasma cutter tree for quite some time and when I came across this gem, I was able to talk the accountant (wife) into it. We have a pretty well outfitted shop. MIG, Gas, stick, lathes, drill press, band saw, brakes, shear, roller, and the like. The new addition will make some of these jobs a lot easier. Our own vehicles include two '63 Caddys, a '63 Belair, and a '63 Catalina. All mild customs or on their way to becoming mild customs. This is my first post and I know that it's not of a technical nature, but I just wanted to say hi and kind of get my feet wet. Thanks for reading.

Great, another gear heat! Welcome. All 63's is that the year you were born? I have a 55 Tbird, 69 Dart and 65 AC Cobra rep I'm working on. Any pictures of your collection? Glad you like the plasma. I just got one a few weeks ago and I am waiting on my 250EX Tig.

Hi Wayne,
I'll try to get some pics together and post them. The '63's mostly found us. The Catalina is my wife's first car, I built it for her when she was 20. It's in the proscess of a re-build due to a cracked block and frame. Long story, but all of that is repaired/replaced and i'm getting ready to re-install the doghouse and repaint it. The '63 Chevy was given to me and I'm in turn going to give it to my son who is in the Air Force. It's completely stock, four door with a six banger, should be perfect for a young airman and his buddies. I have a brand new interior for it and will be using the plasma cutter to remove some cancer and then squirt black cherry on it. The '63 Sedan de Ville we just picked up for my wife. A guy was selling all of his toys and we couldn't pass up the deal. The '63 Coupe de Ville We got from an estate sale. The lady owned it since new and kept every reciept for any work ever performed on the car. It's in pretty good shape. The driver side seat cloth is a little torn up and the paint has been re-done in several different places at several different times, so one of these days I'm going to re-shoot the whole car.
Sounds like you have quite the collection yourself. Would love to see some pics as well.
