Ducati's use a 10mm bolt that runs the whole way through the frame and engine.

Thanks, that's what I thought. But it looked like each channel ended so far in where they broke off and I did not see any threads. So thought I'd ask. Makes since far as the stress, weird it broke like that unless the bolt was loose?
