Well good luck with it... Guam??? I can see where you can have trouble with shipping. Looks like everything arrived intact. Do you do any TIG welding/experienced with TIG??? Have to let us know how you do.

Congratulation on your new TIG. It looks like you have the same foot pedal as I do for my PP205. If so there are screws on the bottom that could get stripped from slidiing it on the ground. A tip I got from Ray (Everlast Support) was to put some rubber boat traction I got at Home Depot on the bottom to raise the screws off the ground and protect them. I added the rubber traction to mine qand have no problem sliding it around and not damaging the screws. Good luck.

    Stomper4x4,

Thanks for hanging in there. They sell out fast but sometimes takes time to re-stock.

Make sure you pull the latest manual from our website. Red button upper right on all site (not forum) pages. I was not aware the screws were on the bottom on the 256 pedal. Can you confirm this? Things change sometimes. Should be know external adjustments on the pedal.

Enjoy, post pictures and call us if you have any questions. LX fan though I traded up for the EX.. Great welder.

The only real trouble with shipping was it wasn't labeled as i instructed, so when ups dropped it off at the freight forwarder they didn't know where to ship it to.

I have never tig welded not ever, cant wait till i can get some gas to try it out. The gas co. wants $300.00 for the bottle and $150 to fill it.

Ouch that seems pretty high. Could be the area. How big of a bottle is it???

The refill sounds very high. Should be under $100 for sure. We are high here at $85-$80. Must be location. Good news, the bottle will last a lot longer then the smaller ones. So it's not the end of the world. Make sure you read up on setting the gas flow in Lpm so to not waste gas, that will help too.
