    Welcome, 7FC_Driver! Looks like you've got a shopful of gear- I'm coveting your cnc mill and lathe. What kind of things are you working on?

    Thanks for the response. As far as the things that I am working on......well, we own a small machine shop, so we are making something different all the time.
    As far as this welding thing, it's just fascinating to me, and I would like to get better at it.

    The only things Mr. Force and I have in common are: we both live in CA, we both use to drive truck, we still like to go fast, and we are the same age(darn it!).
    My name here(7fc Driver) refers to an airplane I own. It's a 1958 Champion, model 7FC.

    I thought 7fc stood for NHRA division 7 Funny car driver. Never even crossed my mind it was an airplane Got any pics of it?
