  1. Default Metal supplier

I am new to welding and live in Charlotte, NC. I have had trouble finding metal at reasonable prices unless I buy a ton....

I found a place that will sell to me with no minimum purchase. Also shipping seems to be reasonable.

Stockcarsteel.com...Just let me know your thoughts....a side note is that these guys supply all of the Nascar teams.

    Are these reasonable prices?

I've got a supplier that is in Arkansas, I am in Missouri, and they deliver to me for no charge and the prices are great.
They sell to larger companies up here so they just through what I need on the truck as they come this way.

I just bought 40' of 1" .065 wall square tubing for a little over $20. You won't get those prices on stockcarsteel or any other cut to size website.
That being said, I have bought from Onlinemetals.com and metalsdepot.com and the steel was usually really nice with no rust or dirt and the price wasn't Too bad.
    PowerTig 250EX
    Power I-MIG 200
    Power Plasma 50
It's what you learn, After you know it all, that counts!
