Most viewers are 4" wide (even the old 2x4 non-auto flip shields from 30 years ago). And all we talked about here are vertically 3" plus tall? Mind you the solar cell kills some of the vertical height. I looked a second time and saw nothing giant with their lens.

I missed something I guess. Also, 5 reviews on three helmets now I have seen, not a lot. I would stick with helmets people actually have myself.

Oops--think you're right. Just looking at the pictures it looked a lot bigger than the Northern one to me for some reason. The $129 northern one is 9.32 in^2, Rhino one is 10.4 in^2 viewing area. Given that they are both in the 4" width range, the difference in height is pretty small.

And there's a Northern not far from me, so I can go play with it in the store

i own two of the northern's, i purchased the first after dropping my 300 dollar jackson off of a balcony. if you sign up for email alerts you can usually get a coupon. i paid 99, and 109 each time. i don't like graphics so i spray painted them black. just an option if your not into red flames.

the first one is nearly three years old/

I like that the Jackson has settings for Oxy Acetylene and grinding ... I wish my lesser expensive Jackson did ... it does take the cheater lenses (I'm maxed out on mine ... getting old sucks) I think I'm going to look for something with a set up for O/A & grinding like the one shown ... it would be nice to be able to see w/o a blur when using oxy since my glasses don't work very well under goggles LMAO
