Yeah, that's why I want one. Just a long wait for the states. I have a couple projects I'd really like to get done in the next 2-3 weeks and don't want to wait.

Okay so I made the buy... nothing I wanted was in stock so I talked to Alex today and he gave me a great deal on a 250EX, not for the price of a 225LX or anything like that but too good to pass up! On it's way from San Francisco and has already been picked up by UPS, I should have it on Thursday... That's only 2 days!
I'm pretty pumped up about it. Never thought I'd end up buying the 250 but it's only 5lb or so heavier than the 200 and of course 50 more amps. All the other bells and whistles don't matter to me much if at all.... well I'm interested in the spot timer feature, I'll be trying that out.
Can't wait to lay some beads!

I bought a nice cart to put my 250 on and put all the cooling stuff under it i can tell what you need cheap to build a water cooler i totaled like under 200 bucks to build my cooler and works great

Yeah, no complaints about the CS. They took care of me for sure. I was also working with a local rep who was good to.
I'm pretty stoked.

Part of my requirements are that it is fairly portable, at 60lbs I can carry in one hand, not all day but I can bring it up out of my basement when needed. As a result I'll be getting an air cooled torch before I build a cooler, most of what I'll be doing will be below 100 amps.
When I do build a cooler I want to do something similar to the coolers on the CobraTig orbitals at work, they suck but I can improve the design. The main idea is that they attach to the base of the 250ex, I've been inside these things so many times and have a few ideas on how they could have made it better and cheaper.

I was comparing the size of the CK9 and the CK20 and realized they were the same, so I'm gonna go with a WC torch after all. I'll rig up something simple to get me buy until I can build a unit. For the mean time I'll use a 5 gal bucket and the same pump that's in the Cobra Cooler, that should be fine for the low amp stuff I'll be doing first.
