Thread: Consumables

  1. Default Consumables

What consumables can be purchased at any welding supply dealer that will work with the super200p?

The TIG torch is standard. On the electrodes, you need to ask for 1/16", 3/32", etc to match which collet you use of course. Use tungsten for aluminum welding and 2% (red tip) for steel. Some people use 2% for everything.

On the plasma cutter, you can order them from us or about anyone selling them on the internet as the torch is a standard part between the import welding company torches, the units are different (built to certain company specs) but the torches all come from the same place.
Our new IGBT line you can pick parts up at your local welding supplier, it will just cost more.

I buy from PraxAir and Welder Supply when I am in a hurry, otherwise, I get them from Everlast. Google for Praxair or Air Gas and see if you have one near you for the TIG supplies.

What are the part number/type of the ceramic cups for the tig 200LX? I want to get some size 10-12 and make a diffuser. They had all kinds at the welding store and I should have brought a spare to match but i didn't.

    Hey Dax,

Take one with you to the LWS, they can match it up. It would be better take the torch and fit it when there. Then no room for error.

These are weldcraft WP 18,26 compatible and you can get a gas lens to fit it.

Our part numbers are probably different, but that does not mean they won't interchange. You simply tell the LWS what Weldcraft torch equivalent you have. Most of the collets and stuff for weldcraft WP series are interchangeable. That is why we use their style and why it is so popular world wide.
