  1. Default johnnyfive says hello from Lancaster, PA. Everlast PowerTig 225LX

Hello from Lancaster, PA. Just purchased my first Everlast product, the Everlast PowerTig 225LX, and all I can say is what an excellent machine. Would like to say a special thank you to Alex for the great customer service. I was apprehensive about the machine having a pulse frequency of .5 - 25 pps. but after having a nice talk with Alex and his detailed explanation of pulse frequency and this machine, I felt this was the welder for my needs. I am posting some photos and you can see I was welding beads (using pulse function) right on the edge of .063 aluminum quite easily... now remember, these are my very first beads with this machine and I feel with more seat time, I'm going to get this welder really dialed in. I wanted to show you something right out of the box. Other practice beads were run with, and without pulse. All welding was done with parameters set on machine. Foot pedal was not used.
I took up welding two months ago and started with MIG and recently, turned to TIG. I am helping two kids through college, and all the other family stuff. Everlast has the price point and quality product that has allowed me to start this new hobby. I am waiting for the new finger-controlled tig torch to come in...then it's game on. Thank you for allowing me to join the Everlast family...
