Whew. That was a mouthful. It's all very good indeed! We want to hear all about your new toy ... er, I mean tool.
Is it OK to want to break something just so that you can weld it back together?

Winky, what did you use to make the little bikes and cars? You will like the DX, have not played with the new panel and features, but sound like the LX/EX just less max power. Keep us posted.

Mostly I used my Lincoln 180C. it has turned out to be my favorite machine to this point ... I've also used my Miller stick welder on my early bikes before getting my Lincoln and my DC inverter TIG when the metal was too thin for .030 wire ... I picked up my Hobart only so when I didn't 220 available I could still weld.

    Sound like me a welder for everything. Little 110 mig IMIG200, 220 mig IMIG205, cutter (220) PP60, 110 TIG TIG160STH and 220 TIG 250EX.

Like the add the 185 to the small TIG collection (AC/DC).

It's best to be versatile I also have a little 50 AMP inverter plasma cutter as well (Amvent) works really well ... yesterday when I was using my little DC tig I noticed I have moisture in my tank ... ganna have to make a dryer ... Thank God for Jody and his step by step instructions. I also need to get a dust collector ... and fume extractor if I can make room for them ... may need to find another location for the trailer we use for our events ... unfortunately it's full of our motorsports inventory ... we use the sales to pay for my drag racing ... I only have contingency sponsors so if I don't finish 1st or runner up there is no income from them and they usually pay in parts or services only.

I think I posted a like to it here on the forum somewhere as well. I was hoping to get to a franz unit today, but couple sales, saw a neightbor and then another friend. Day is about shot. I need to see of the cheap HF once come apart like someone here mentioned. That would be easy to do, then maybe see if I can get Rod kitty litter in one. hahaha.. I just left publix too darn it. Smoking chicken and ham right now. So going nowhere...

Sounds like my day, bone spur is on the right elbow. They are a major pain in the neck. Hope they never throw chemo at you. Then you learn what tough is.

I was sort planning on winning the powerball..

That's my only hope for retirement ... as far as chemo goes ... known too many people who have had that ... think I'll pass. Between broken bones, an amputation, meningitis, TB and a hitch in the Corps during the Viet era I already have a clue about pain LMAO.

My word, you have mentally been there already, a couple times. I feel a little better now.
