Can you run a PW140 on 208 vac

????? how does that remotely answer my question. I am asking if I take 2 120vac legs from a 120/208 3 ph panel and a Neu/GRND legs would it hurt the Powerarc 140. It is not much different than 2 120vac legs from 120/240 1ph

How many 110v lines are in a 3 phase? 3? or is it 3 - 220v breakers?

3 phase comes 2 ways there is 4 wires coming in to box it makes 240 volt if only 3 wires coming in to box will make 208 . my shop has 4 wire coming in to my 3 phase box at my shop

Three phase power comes in two flavors.

Star and Delta.

Star has 4 leads - 1 for each of three windings, and 1 neutral which is the common connection point for each winding.
So for low voltages, this arrangement gives 208 volts between any pair of hot leads, and 120 volts from any hot lead to neutral.

Delta has 3 leads.
This arrangement gives 240 volts between any pair of leads. There is no 120 volts, unless a winding has a center tap.

I've omitted the ground wire in both cases.
