That sounds like a lot of fun, Oleg. I remember I got to go to the CART race in Portland, OR about ten years ago. I got some really sweet VIP seats of some vendor through my work. That was amazing. The Indy lights opened up for them. Oh there was also some Nascar event in between the indy lights and the "main event", but that but it was more like a comedy. (The number of cars that piled up in the first turn... I cant' describe with anything other than "comical.") I view Champ cars as kind of like Formula 1 on a smaller scale.

What?? No umbrella girl? Thought I saw a bit of green on a helmet in one of the pictures. A whole team in green would certainly stand out .... !
Is it OK to want to break something just so that you can weld it back together?

Few pictures with the drivers ..

One of the Lincoln sales managers hooked me up with the PIT PASS, couldn't pass that up !
If everything will go well , in 2013 season there will be a car with a VERY SMALL everlast logo.

Great pictures. It really is amazing how quickly they can rebuild those race cars, although I imagine that welders get used less and less these days with the cars being composed mainly of composites. Pretty cool that the Lincoln guys were so accommodating.

It gets surprisingly hot when you are wearing a full race suit over nomex underwear + helmet, gloves, etc.

I could the the Powertig 210EXT being very popular with race teams; considering how much they bring to the track space is a premium.
