Thread: New Tigger from Cali.

  1. Default New Tigger from Cali.

New to welding, not to life. 12 years in IT, 10 years in the Fire service as a firefighter/paramedic, and 30+ years in hot rodding.

Learned on a Miller synchro wave 350, and bought a 250EXT, and looking forward to the "big fix"!

    Welcome aboard.

I had an email last night from Oleg and Todd. I guess it's fixed. Sure we will be posting something soon.

Welcome ... so many people from Cali I was born and raised there my self ... central coast most of my life ... in my youth an middle age surfed every break from Davenport to Moss landing on a regular basses, and surfed as far south as Inis point Baja Mexico ... wouldn't go back there now for anything gotten too crazy. Into hot rodding eh? me too been racing with the AHDRA for almost a decade now ... am an NHRA member and total fan of anything that burns CH3NO2. They put a belt buckle I made for John Force's 15th national championship in the JFR museum in Yorba Linda I felt very honored ... been a John Force fan for decades.

I hear ya brother! At least you got to learn it, I pretty much gave up on trying to practice, it's just too hard without a footpedal.
Penncrest Buzzbox - Infinite amp control! Man the 70's were good.
Everlast Powerplasma 60 - Reliable unit, cuts well.
Everlast i-MIG 250P w/spoolgun - Really smooth, plenty of cajones.
Everlast 250EXT - Sometimes it just takes a kick in the balls...
Everlast 255EXT - Just started playing

Yeah, I'm a foot pedal guy too, I can see the benefit for certain applications, but I haven't found myself in any of those applications yet. So as of right now, my 250EXT is just sitting in my garage. I've only fired it up once when I received it to make sure it hadn't been damaged in shipping. Looking forward to being able to play!

Welcome to the forum! I been watching the activity surrounding the 250EXT from afar (as I don't own one myself). I have every confidence they will / have worked everything out. Cheers!
Is it OK to want to break something just so that you can weld it back together?
