I like the 200DX also because it isnt all "Digital display" which like every microwave oven etc with similar displays dosent seem to hold up.
Yea the color coded knobs make it really easy to see your settings at a glance and there are no menus to mess with … for me 200 amps is plenty of power and a water cooled torch isn’t necessary. Rod, I really don’t know what to say about the tutu … kinda caught me off guard … had to divert my eye LOL

I will have some time available to me next week to work with with it ... just wanted to keep everyone informed about how this fine machine is working for me.
We're glad you like it. All of our AC/DC TIGs are nice, just higher price you get a little more power and some features. I have the 250EX and would be fine with the 200DX. I really do not use the features and 200 amps is a lot of power. You cooked up any more welding art?

Best of luck at the Nationals.

Oops- My "T" key must be broken! The EX has the regular dials etc and the EXT has the new face like the 210 EXT
It seems like they take a long time to upgrade their product list!

New pages have to be built, new admin pages...all information has to be assembled, and put in. Specs have to be finalized, and confirmed, and then rechecked...etc.

I'm afraid I’ve just been way too busy to do any more metal art ... I have been doing some repairs … I just scored a bunch of hollow aluminum ortho frame bars and stainless steel that the hospital had to get rid of (fire marshal came through and told us we had to clear the clutter) I might see if I can turn them into window bars for our residence. Also in the process of putting in two more security cams and monitor as well as the races in a couple weeks so it may be a while before I get some down time … the metal art is what I do for relaxation and relaxation seems to be a hard commodity to come by right now.

Congrats. I loose every week but waiting for a break even hit even at this time. Not sure what I would do with it. But hoping for that 7-8 digits. Get some filler and tungsten while you are at it.
