Default Loading a large roll of wire on the IMIG 200?

So the 2lb. roll has a small hole that fits the shaft and rolls fine.
I'm wondering if there is an adapter that I didn't get with my welder to load a larger roll with a 2.5-3" hole in the center?

Max roll size is 12 pounds. When I bought a 12# roll it installed just fine, with no adapters. What are you working with?

The metal plates have a depressed center which go into the sides of the roll. Be sure to put plenty of tension on the spring...but not too much.

Plate or plates? I only have an outer disc that is depressed so I guess I'm missing one? maybe thats why it doesn't roll so well....

I ended up using the core of a 2lb. roll to make it work.

You should have an inner one as well WHERE the rod is bolted on that holds the small spool. It is fixed to the side of the welder.

Ok, I'll check. Maybe I do if it's bolted on. Maybe this heat has affected my common sense!
