For remote start and stop you can just plug in your own switch instead of the torch switch. If you want to be able to be able to change the power, I do not believe that is possible without modifications.
This thread has an example of using a foot switch for plasma cutting.

He means switching the torch switch pins on and off, not the power.

Good point Rod. We have or had some models without the CNC port though and some without the euro connector. Old unit without euro and very easy to mod for other remote start and stop methods.

Does your PowerPro 205 have a CNC plug, on the back? If so that would work, otherwise just use the torch plug on the front. I'm sure you can figure out what pins from the stock plasma torch plug.

Does you unit have a CNC port on the back? If so pins 1 and 2 short them and unit turns on, open them and it turns off.
If no, then you will need to ohm out the euro connector and hook into the pins or open the torch and hook in there.

What unit do you have, does it have the CNC port on the rear?

    1. Check the pins in the plug on the end of the plasma torch cable with an ohm meter or continuity tester, while pressing and releasing the torch switch. That will tell you which pins are used to activate the torch.
    2. Get an extra plug to mate with the front panel connector (everlast, digikey.com, mouser.com, etc).
    3. Wire your foot switch to the two pins you located in step 1.
    4. Connect the torch as normal (dinse, gas, pilot arc), but plug in your new foot switch instead of the torch cable plug.
    5. Be careful as with the torch and switch separated it might be easier than normal to hit the switch while the torch is not pointed in a safe direction.

Out of curiosity, why do you need/want a foot operated torch?
