This is a project that I've been working on. After my son was born it seems the three projects I have been trying to finish are just collecting dust. I've been looking at tubing benders for over a year, and I finally decided to go the got trikes route. This is a fun project, I have it about 95% complete. I will upload some of the drilling photos later, the pictures will be in reverse order.



Here is everything tacked together.




I used the 3/4" threaded rod to align every thing. It also let me see how well I drilled my holes.




The frame is welded together. I have to add the piece that holds the jack in place.


I welded this with my Power Arc 200 and my Imig 200. I have some of the drilling and cutting pictures that I will upload later.

tube bender is nice to have i use the crap out of my bender

You will be very happy with that bender I built 2 years ago (sold the first one changed to air/hydraulic on #2). Being mobile is a great plus wiht Franks bender.
I replaced the slide block with a roller.

Where did you get the roller?

little shop behind my home (DIY roller) I machined it. I also modified the 90 degree die so I could bend over 90 with it as shown in the picture.

I need to open up the package from pro-tools, I can't remember whether or not I ordered a slide block!
