My name is Nick, I recently purchased a pp50 which is still in transit. I currently own a Lincoln Weld Pac 180 which I am just learning to use. I thought the pp50 would be a good companion to my weld pac. Well I will be lurking around the forums trying to learn from you folks. I see using this equipment for projects on my Tacoma 4x4 and around the home.

Welcome, Nick, and congrats on the purchase of the PP50! No need to lurk, jump in- always interesting to see what guys are up to. You might join in the contest (see the Promotions and Announcements section). Welcome!

Welcome, Nick! Congratulations on your purchase. You're going to make some great creations with your new equipment. Welcome to the forum!
Is it OK to want to break something just so that you can weld it back together?

    Welcome to the forum Nick.

Be sure to get an air dryer for your plasma cutter. The MotorGuard M30 kit works great and comes with 3 filters that should last a long time. http://www.tooltopia.com/motorguard-m45.aspx

Thanks all for the fine welcome. Zoama; thanks for the tip on the dryer, I'm the guy who once I decide to make a purchase I end up getting almost every option. My wife would say its a curse, meh, I look at it as an investment in keeping me out os trouble.

Welcome... And BTW make sure you also have a decent compressor. We have had a few posts lately about the plasma cutters running poorly and looks like people were using little tiny compressors on them. Make sure you look at the specs and your compressor is better than that. Not that you need a large compressor but the little 2 cfms won't cut it!!!! Haha

Son of a gun if I didn't buy the dryer. After researching a bit on the web, Zoama your link was by far the cheapest. Oh ya they also had a Weller duel range soldering gun on sale, that's right on time since when I dropped mine it blew apart in bunch of pieces.

    Hey Doc; welcome aboard
