Replacement torch

I've been a somewhat satisfied owner of the Power Pro 256 for the past three years. Realizing that a multi process machine has its strengths and weakness, I'm learning to work with them and starting to get the results I've been looking for. The reason for this correspondence is to find a replacement torch for my plasma cutter as I have apparently overheated it in use and have found cracks in the holder that may have compromised the integrity of the torch. What models do you have in your line of products that would be compatible with my PP256? I'm considering contacting my local gas/supplies distributor for a replacement based on convenience and availability plus eliminate shipping and handling. Any suggestions or recommendations? Thanks for your help.

We have the newer style trafimet A81's and also the replacement P 80's are a nice option.

The A81 is nice, consumables cost a little more. I prefer the P80 since consumables are cheaper. Both are good picks. P80 is less money. I use both.

Thanks for the speedy responses from Mark and Mike. I could use a little clarification on the torches you've suggested as I'm not seeing them listed in the torches category. Mark is on the clock before me, and is more a of a details guy on the torch and welders. I get in later in the day, but we both have voicemail.
The A81 is newer to us and built well, I would be happy with either, I use the P80 just since the consumables are less, the A81 might be considered a better brand (and is a name brand you can get the LWS to get you parts for).

But if you want to give a call Mark or I would be more than happy to help out. I use both, if I had to pick just one, probably the Trafimet A81.

More money but good choice.

Note there's a swirl ring inside the torch, always make sure it is in there when you swap consumables (eg; make sure you do not dump it when you swap them). The S45 pops off a lot easier. But just a heads up.

Is anyone using the newer S75 Trafimet Plasma torch? I just got a new PowerPro 256 and opted for the S75 upgrade. We have an older Miller with a 27amp max (I can't remember the model number) and this S75 torch looks like it would be a beast compared to the Miller. The consumables are much larger in the S75, so I'm assuming its a much higher amperage potential torch than the Miller unit. Just curious if anyone has tried the S75 yet?

Take a look at the Hobart equivalent. They are using Trafimet. They use what we use in the smaller units, a s-45 torch.
