Yes, they are brass … I use a .357 and a .22 they work real well and since they are brass they don’t damage anything, and they are cheap. The .22 is great for a quick clean up because you don't even need to pull the nozzle apart ... the .357 is good for a deeper cleaning once you pull the nozzle off. One last thing ... best to buy brushes dedicated for this ... probably not a good idea to use ones that have been dipped in Hoppies #9 or gun oil LOL.

Hoppes #9, haven't thought about that stuff in years! I spilled a whole bottle on the carpet when I was a kid, and it was the best air freshener ever!
.410, .22, .357, I was thinking I'd have to get a .50 cal for a nozzle.

it seemed to me that inspired the designer of this motorcycle a helmet of the lord vader, from Star Wars.

Golly that is nice! Thank-you so much for sharing with us. Truly an inspiration to me to become more artistic. It looks to me that all of the components were custom made.
Is it OK to want to break something just so that you can weld it back together?

Great job on that Sportster Ruslan! I need to find some time to make more detailed bikes but I've been kinda busy filling orders for these little motorcycle Chrismas tree ornaments, my day job and other things I haven’t had time. After Christmas I have to make a bunch more roses for a couple venders so they can have them in their shops before Valentine’s day. After that I’ll probably be doing some stuff with my forge, there are some tools need to make.

Thanks Ruslan ... I've put together a small album with a few of my bikes in it ... some you've seen some you haven't ... like most of the miniature bikes I make these all have working yokes and wheels that turn ... I think I called the album"small motorcycles". My bikes aren't as well detailed as yours but I have a lot of fun making them. Hope you enjoy viewing them.![]()

I have been commissioned to do a mock up of a bike owned by Tom Patsis ...I'm about two thirds done with it but I have been taking pictures with my cell phone as I go alone ... I think I'll make it my entry for the metal art segment of the current contest but I'll probably start a new threat to do so. I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas.

Very cool! Last year I only made a few bikes myself and only one was detailed ... I don't remember if I uploaded it or not it's called "Stray Cat" because the cylinders are Caterpillar bolts.
