Thread: Custom Built Multi Tool, Not Harbor Freight, Not Snap On

Default Custom Built Multi Tool, Not Harbor Freight, Not Snap On

Had to set the timing on my old tractor, needless to say the vibration damper had paint and a light film of rust on it so you could not see the timing marks. It was about a 2.5 hour job removing sheet metal and shrouds and the alternator to clean and mark the damper. My hand and arm were not small enough to get there. I had my oldest daughter run the tractor while we made this tool and used it. I took a 3/8" piece of aluminum tubing added a little bend and an SS Brush that cleaned the pulley, a piece of soapstone to fill the timing marks, and a sharpie marker to mark 17 degrees.Saved a lot of time and it worked. They will probably have these at HF this winter.

Another Chinese knock-off come winter and you will not get the millions for it.

Have to see if Mark will count this one for the contest. Looks legit to me, and is that duct tape. How can it not count, SS brush, black sharpie and duct tape. And some soap stone in there too. Talk about your multi tool.

Everlast Powerplasma 60 - Reliable unit, cuts well.
Everlast i-MIG 250P w/spoolgun - Really smooth, plenty of cajones.
