Hi guys, noob here. I just got my new PowerPro 256 last week.

I'm a hobby welder, mostly flux-core and stick with a buzz box. I do a bit of machining with my RF45 clone and I dabble in heat treating with my 2 Paragon kilns.

So far I've only run a few beads of 7018 with the new unit, but what an improvement over the buzz box! I can't wait to get some more hours on this thing.

I'll try not to ask too many stupid questions!
