  1. Default pp50 arc question

Upon pressing the trigger the arc will start then when a load is put on the arc it goes out then re-arcs. It cuts really well I have no other issues other than the pressure regulator fluctuates when the trigger is pressed is that suppose to happen? Thanks for any help.

It sounds like you have an air pressure problem. Too much or too little at the wrong time. What size air compressor are you using?

It runs 8scfm at 90 psi, that makes sense because I can't run it at the same time due to breaker issues. It's a 25 gal 6 hp craftsman professional

What's your "Operating" air pressure when it is cutting? What amps are you running at?
How much drop in air pressure are you getting when you press the trigger? If it's more than 5-7 psi, the unit may have a kinked hose going to the air gauge.

Thanks guys ill make sure the compressor can be plugged in at the same time as the cutter, so i can get ample air pressure.
