The pictures and description help a lot … man that’s old school Now I see I need to get busy and stop procrastinating on build that forge I’ve been talking about for the last 5 years. You seem to have this stuff dialed … выдающийся

I need to make time to build one too.

Ruslan, did you build your own forge? If so, could we see some pictures sometime? спасибо
Penncrest Buzzbox - Infinite amp control! Man the 70's were good.
Everlast Powerplasma 60 - Reliable unit, cuts well.
Everlast i-MIG 250P w/spoolgun - Really smooth, plenty of cajones.
Everlast 250EXT - Sometimes it just takes a kick in the balls...
Everlast 255EXT - Just started playing

You guys with forges are a lot braver than I am! LOL That is great stuff. I love the way the end is pounded flat and made to look like a fan. The pictures are fantastic!
Is it OK to want to break something just so that you can weld it back together?

Ruslan, count me in. Any details on the forge? Like RedBeard and Winky, I would like to have one and anvil since I am sure the power hammer is not gonna happen for me.

What gas do you use? How big a tank and how long can it fire or attached to heating system on the shop?

I have always wanted one, like a CNC cutter, etc. I have a mill, just not here since I have to get it here from where is sat and heavy.

I think they are saying you probably have a jig or homemade tool for doing the scroll work like you used and showed us in your bent square tubing when you built your welder cart. Very nice table.

I will wait for someone to post a DIY oven with a BBQ propane tank and make a small one. Those are good sized tanks. The Russia leader do not want you to have too big a tank for a reason hahaha.

    Thanks for the info.

Very nice. Is the blower motor variable in speed to get the right flow or just designed for the oven. And do you really need all those hammers I would kill for that anvil, but it must be a pain when you have to move your shop, talk about heavy metal..

Mike, on both forge stand blower motor with adjustment of supply of air (motors are connected through a dimer)it allows to adjust a flame of a gas burner

I have an AC dimmer and found this last night. Maybe a forge in my future. Hope household propane will get me started. Here in the little fan, but it drags so I have to see if I can get it working

Very nice setup. But the real magic isn't the tools, but the artist who wields them.
That looks like it might be the speed control box on the end of the upper hammer rack. A mix of old and new tech.

Very nice work, i could spend a week or so in your shop working, i have a few blacksmith tools ( 104 kilo 208 pound long horn anvil )and love to make things with them, my neighbor is like you he is a talented blacksmith and his tools look a lot like yours. Its an old school art that only a few people are still doing. Very nice work !!!!!,

If you are using an AC blower motor you can use a light dimmer to control the speed of the blower. I do this on my aluminum furnace works very well. If your motor is a Cap start type you cannot use a dimmer on those.

That's the plan for mine. Motor found, dimmer found. Just need a brake drum, pipe and coal.
