Face Shield

Is a #5 face shield enough protection when using a plasma cutter.
I'm now trying to use some #7 goggles over for my prescription glasses, but I don't like them.
So far I've not been able to find anything darker than a #5 face shield.

Problem solved, just found a chart telling what shade for what power setting.

Thanks, guess I've been a bit undershaded using the 5 for everything. Hopefully always running my helmet at 13 when I weld will cancel that out.

I can't see very well if I go over 9 when using mig or stick.
It's hell getting old.
