PowerARC 160 STH 2013 model, multi-pro 205 questions

It is the same unit with no changes being made.
The MP 205 does not perform as good as the higher priced units , the componentns used are different and the performance is less than can be expected from the PowerULtra and PowerPro Series. The 160STH has a more fluid /stable arc in comparison to the Multi- Pro .

The 160STH is a great little machine for the price. The design is solid. On stick it works very well, and the TIG with the HF start is a major plus. It also runs on 110VAC or 220VAC. Also takes a foot pedal if you need one.

Even Jody at welding tips and tricks (weldingtipsandtricks.com) mentions he has one on his workbench. Can you tell I like mine? For about any TIG related steel project it will not let you down.

Thanks for the info - looks like I'll need to decide if a TIG welder or a plasma cutter is next for me
