The Dinse connector has to have the gas line to come out from the front and not the side, and the front of the connector has to be tapered so that it will not interfere. We can't guarantee cross-brand hook up. We offer a standard 26 and 18 for this unit also with a rheostat control.

Mark I apparently ordered the wrong dinse for the CK 9 torch and ultra flex cable. I ordered the SL2-35LG but understand it should be the SL2-35. However before ordering another wrong part I want to be sure. This is a picture of the SL2-35 but the little peg at the end that locks the dinse in after twisting seems to be to far from the end. That is the issue I have with the other dinse with the "LG" suffix. Any help is appreciated to help me avert ordering another wrong part. I am excited to work this torch and hope I find the correct dinse for the cable. Dan in NYClick image for larger version.

SL2-35 is a 35-70 dinse, adding LG just changes to a male gas quick coupling instead of the threaded gas fitting. What are the numbers on your oem dinse ?

The barrel look a little fat. Not sure how that is going to affect the fit. The Dinse is a 35-50 I believe, but a 35 70 will generally work. It might be a little long, but it can be made to work.

The first time I used my CK dinse it took a little extra force to turn it to the locked position, after that it was easier.

I got it to work because I unscrewed the plastic nut that locks the two halves of the cover and left that nut off. The dinse then plugged in perfectly. I am using a 25 foot ultra flex cable with the 130 amp CK 9 torch. Now that it is dialed in I love it. What a pleasure. I know there is a time and place for the 26 torch, but for the majority of what I do now and will do the small torch and flex hose will be perfect. Thanks Piopio and Mark and all who helped. I am up and running now. D
