The ssc is not a new pedal, but made in the USA. It is an optional pedal.

Should work fine. I took my 250EX pedal to test the 160STH, in fact it still on the 160STH. They both take the 47K ohm pedal. Most of out unit are 47K now, the 210EXT is 1K.

Never used the SSC pedal myself. Seems everyone I talk to likes them a lot. Not one complaint. Our 210EXT pedal is a lower profiles and nice.

I don't use a foot pedal normally. But I had to try it. It was not bad at all. Can not get my son to try it.

So my thought, the SSC must be really low and nice..

Having used one myself, both have their nice benefits. The fine control, and range of motion isn't as great on the SSC, but it is sensitive enough, and is wider so accurate foot placement isn't required. It is more linear, but even that has its advantages and disadvantages. The lower profile is nice, but to me, it's not a must have. But it is a good buy and many do like it. Can't complain with either one.

Not sure if I posted pictures here (not sure if I saved).

These are the Everlast pedals, no the SSC in there.

From left the 3.5" (current 210ext pedal), 4.25" for new Everlast low profile model and 8" Everlast standard default pedal on the right.
