Thread: Plasma Cutting Settings Super 200P

  1. Default Plasma Cutting Settings Super 200P

Want to confirm the settings when using the plasma cutting feature on the Super 200P

All Dials set to Zero or Min. except for Current Control
    AC/DC set to DC
    2T/4T set to 2T
    Pulse/DC switch to DC
    Mode Switch down (Plasma Cutting)
    Air At 65 - 70lbs

I am assuming the Current Control dial is the only dial used to select amperage for plasma cutting

    That is correct.

Also, for thinner metals, sometimes under 60PSI will yield a thinner cut. On aluminum make sure you angle the torch say 45 degrees to avoid spatter in the tip.

When does the digital readout display the amperage?

  4. Default Re: Plasma Cutting Settings Super 200P

When you set it with the AMPs knob. It is really just to assist in setting the amps.
