    Welcome Bubba!

I just got mine up and running this weekend, but I've been on the forum for a while and have seen some customer service that impressed the hell out of me... and I'm tough to impress in that regard. Some great folks to deal with, really stand behind their brand.

As far as the machine, I have a 200DX so I can't speak to the plasma cutter aspect, but a dedicated plasma is next on my list. There was a budget concern that dictated which machine I got when, else I'd have gotten the 256, as I don't know what I'll be doing until I open the shop door, similar to your situation.

Search around the forum, one thing folks here love doing is talking about their machines and what they can do with them.

You'll also notice that negative posts aren't deleted, rather responded to with solutions and resolutions.

Welcome. You can look around this forum as to service issues. Customer service seems to be really good, both from the company reps as well as other users. There is a current backlog in machine repairs, but it seems that is due to the fast growth of this company. Keeping machines in stock has also been tricky as they often sell out before the next shipment comes in. Again, something that speaks to the popularity of these machines.

    Welcome to the forum.

I would say go with a separate machine. You can snatch up a Supercut 50P off ebay right now for $400. I have cut .59" so far with no problem.

Try it out and see what you think about Everlast. I guaranty you will be back.

    I-Mig 160, I-Mig 200, or a MTS 160
