Hi I am new to the forum. I received my Power Plasma 50, wired an outlet for it, hooked it up, set the outside air limit to 80 psi, and it cut beautifully. When I shut it off I heard an air leak inside. From reading the forums this has been a problem for nearly three years! The online manual says this is not a warranty return issue so I disassembled the unit and found the leak at the bottom of the air pressure adjustment knob's rear module. This is a connector that I am not familiar with. It looked to be a threaded connector but no amount of force I could apply (without breaking the front bezel or the knob assembly) could break it loose. It is somewhere between a 13mm and a 14mm, it is really hard to get a good grip on it. What have other members done to repair this? It continues to function with the air leak, should I just leave it as is and deal with having to disconnect the air line every time I am done with it? Do the chinese have their own units of measurement it does not seem to be an english or metric size and a little soft for my preferences. If I cut the hose (point of no return) I could probably get a full closed end wrench around it but......................
