well last night i went ahead and ordered the powerpro 256. apparently there's a delay, must be a popular machine. excited to get it. got a lot of learning to do.

Congratulations! Sorry if I missed an earlier post- how much background do you have, what kind of work do you have in mind for the machine?

i do mostly brazing on copper, some mig... very little welding training. i do metal sculptures using mostly copper. i will need a lot of practice to learn just what i can and will be doing with the tig. have a miller spectrum 125 plasma cutter and have had several times when it wouldnt cut what i wanted to cut. i have some ideas for stainless that i have trouble doing now with the equipment i currently have.mostly ive just been fascinated by tig, so now im going to find out what its about.
