Thread: Hello from Georgia

  1. Default Hello from Georgia

Hi, my name is Ken and I am new on this forum. I just received my new Everlast Supercut 50P yesterday. I am retired and have had an interest in welding and small home shop fabrication for about 25 years now. I have a red stick welder and an new Mig welder and wanted to add the Plasma cutter. After doing a ton of research online, I decided to get the Everlast unit. I still have to get it all hooked up yet, so I can try it out. Hope to be able to call on the valuable resource here on this very good forum in the future.

Welcome to the forum. Be sure to get a good air dryer for your plasma cutter. I like the Motorguard kit http://www.tooltopia.com/motorguard-m45.aspx comes with 3 filters.

Thanks for the welcome, Zoama. As far as the air dryer, I have a Deltech model 130 installed. I think that should keep the air dry.

Welcome Ken! Congratulations on your green cutter. It will make a nice addition to your other metal working machines. A lot of really good, helpful people on this forum. Cheers!
Is it OK to want to break something just so that you can weld it back together?
