    Lightbulb Canadian Residents

I'd love to have a discount towards a AC tig setup and the contest would probably be my only hope. Problem is, as the title state, I'm in Canada and the rules state it's only open to conUS and Alaska residents only. Would it be too much to ask to open to Canadian residents too? I mean if you're shipping to Alaska, if it's by freight it's gonna travel through Canada too. I wouldn't mind paying the extra duty and tax if it means I can get a discount.

So why not open it up to Canadians too? I know Everlast Canada doesn't have the buying power that you guys just south of us do and really can't offer these discount. Why not give Duncan a call and see we Canadians can be included?

    Just asking. Cheers.

I think you are referring to the below from the contest details?

Contestants must be 1) Either be legally residing in the continental US or Alaska OR 2) pay shipping costs and any duty or taxes due.

I don't think Everlast is against Canadians. I think they just want to ensure they aren't sending a unit to Antarctica and are on the hook to pay duties to the penguins ....

Is it OK to want to break something just so that you can weld it back together?

Lol, I totally misunderstood that line! Misread the OR part actually. Thanks for the clear up.

Hopefully I can get to some of the projects I have laying around and qualify.
