I saw this at Airgas, and the brochure looked pretty good, so I picked up a 2-pack of 3/32.

I wanted to find a better choice for higher amp AC than 1.5% lanthanated, but these did not do as well as my Gold sticks .

Tapered tips blow off right away on AC, and don't ball over either. I looked closer at their ad, and now see that their claim for substantially longer life is on DC, they are not for AC. I have not tried them any further.

Their environmental impact is tangeable, they take up precious space in my tungsten kit, and they clear-cut my cash for that day.

    But, their brochure looks pretty.

Thanks for the heads up. Since I can't weld with the brochure, I think I'll pass.

I'm surprised you haven't figured out how to do that yet, if anybody can do it, you can.

Thanks for the report Jim, guess that goes to show that the latest and greatest sometimes isn't.
