Tig Welding Grounding Bar Copper to Steel
Decided to make a new pressure type ground bar for small parts for my weld table. Used a 1/4" copper grounding bar , added a short of 3/4" round bar to the bottom so it could rotate and a 1 pound piece of lead to the top to give it some down force. Added a 4 awg ground cable and bolted it to the table.
Welded the copper to cold rolled steel with some Harris 5% silver brazing alloy , Set the 200 DX on 160 amps to get the copper hot.
