Been researching building a TIG cooler out of the Procon pump from a Carbonator system. My question is has anyone used the tank that typical is part of the system? It's made of stainles steel and appears to be about 2 Gallons.

If you searched here you would find a few examples of that.

Long arc, short arc, heliarc and in-the-dark!
Hmm! Those two did not come up when did a search here, thanks. Or maybe I missed them, you will have that lol. Still debating between building, buying or tap water. For as much as I will be using the 250EX i recently, the tap water route may be the best option for me.
Repurposing a carbonator is a common route for DIYers to take, and building one may be the most economical way. I've collected the parts I need to build one for just under $200, just need to get over a little design hurdle before I put it all together. There's lots of videos and examples online to take ideas from.
