plasma cutter not working

i just got my pp256. went up to start trying it out. started with the plasma cutter.cutting a scrap piece of 1/16" stainless. i have the amps set at 25, pressure set at 45psi. switch on cut and dc. lights are on, i can hear the fan blowing. when i pull the trigger i hear a buzzing from the machine, brief, but nothing else happens. can anyone tell is it me or the machine...

Turn off the preflow, start/end amps and end amps. make sure torch is in negative. And for goodness sake, turn up the amps and the air pressure! There is no need to operate the torch at that amperage unless you have proprly sized consumables.

check that you have a good ground...
