Everlast welding helmets??

Looking over the different hoods and spec, only the Fabricator with a 7-15 shade range is rated for plasma. Is the 9-13 range just not dark enuff for plasma cutting?

The helmets are actually too dark in the lightest shade for MOST plasma amperages that we market. The fabricator, has a shade 7 which allows it to work well with plasma.
