Dead on Arrival

Just curious about how many D.O.A. units of the CUT 50 have been shipped.
Mine did everything (air control, amperage knob adjusted digital display) but strike an arc after I got it set up.
Tomorrow, I'm figuring that tech support will help me out.

Also, isn't there some easy way to safely discharge the capacitors before attempting to re-set the spark gap?
