My wife has a 85 corolla that I am trying to fix up. I swapped it from a 1.3 liter diesel automatic to a fuel injected JDM only import engine with 6speed close to 11 years ago. It has been a workhorse for us for a long time. Having never broken down on us. Last year my wife moved back to WA state to take care of a ill family member and the car was parked in her moms garage. We had a 2002 4runner that she drove daily. My wife moved back to AZ a short time later and the car was left in WA. Her brother got ahold of it and really did a # to it. Street racing it, getting it impounded, doing countless burnoffs, hit something and bent the bumper and scratched the brand new paintjob I personally put on the car. When the car came off the trailer my wife was in tears, because of the condition. I've made it my mission to restore the car and make it better than it has ever been. Alot of the projects you will see me posting up will be on this car. For now I'm starting off with a Catch Can. I'm building a large Airbox also but wanted to get back into a groove with my AC welding before building the airbox...
