That's it. I'm moving to Canada...

Funny, we see aluminum food server trucks all the time there (sons look at them for scrap or projects).

Never saw tanks on a utility truck, but I will be looking now. I would imagine rentals if I did see one and even my local scrap yard will not take any tank that is not cut in half. So in the US, that will be a tough one.

I just called these guys- they have a $500 minimum for orders that ship... and shipping is via common carrier, not UPS for instance. I spoke to a very helpful guy, Dennis, who explained the ins and outs and whys (or why nots) of shipping and one-off purchases. (The price for an 80cf bottle with cga580 is now $105, btw.) They'll waive the minimum if you show up at his loading dock, though, so it may be a good source for the guys that are close by.

I would call Welder Services Inc (Mitch) and drive a little more south. 131 is high ($290; prax will beat that), but 300+ is under $400 (sales tax and filled) at purchase (owner bottle).

prax here wants $300 for the 150 tanks and wont sell the 300+ tanks. I got a 300 tank from airgas for $273 with the first fill free. My 125cf I use for mig was just over $200 with the first fill free. Airgas here will fill a 150cf with 75/25 but they only fill it to hold that of the 125 so it didnt make any difference for me to get the 150 over 125. These are to own the bottle.

I went through Praxair. I can't remember how much my tanks were though. Sorry.

    Just a little update:

    As you guys know, I own a I-MIG 200, a PowerTIG200DX, and a Power Plasma 60.

Out of the 3, I have used the TIG welder the most. I can't really give explanation on how to use it. Other than I use the foot pedal and go by feel, not by amps.

The MIG welder works really awesome.

And the plasma, I've only used once. However, I had problems starting it up. So I called support, and they helped me. I had the wrong air fitting and it wasn't getting air to the machine. But the machine worked flawlessly after that.

I really love the Everlast equipment. Glad I made the purchases.
