Thread: New PowerTig 250 EX manual

Default New PowerTig 250 EX manual

The new manual for the 250 EX is up. Several have asked to see it when its up...so here it is. Again, it isn't a welding primer, and that isn't the goal.

Looks like an outstanding manual. Now if you could only get every new owner to read it.

I have gone over it quickly and page 19 is a little mixed up the numbers don't all match up the number 6 is not in the list and there are two number 5’s sorry for the bad news. The information is right just he numbers need to be changed. The 2013 book is very nice and give a lot of good information on the unit. Just trying to help make thing better.

The front page and page 9 of the 2013-250EX the picture does not have the Surge Amps knob. Looking in the manual on page 12 and 13 the knob is missing also but it is on page 15. Just trying to help. Hope I am not too picky.

The generic line drawing picture isn't there for accuracy or representation of the control panel. As the spec says, it isn't available to late 2013. The point of page 13 and 15 is connections...not panel detail.

Very nice job on the manual, Very Clean and straight forward easy to understand and not to complicated to confuse the end user.
