ok whats igbt and is it really so much better then mosfit?
i will never cut/weld thicker then 3/8 maybe 1/2 for a small job dont think i would ever do aluminum
iam thinking the powerultra 205 would do me fine or the multipro 205 seen all over the netany help deciding

Mosfets don't hold up long term...and are more problematic. IGBT handles power surges, and when IF they fail, they don't do as much damage.
