  1. Default mikewilliams68 introduction

    Hi guy's ,
I have been welding for about 2 years at Buhler Manufacturing a canadian owned company at a U.S. branch in Fargo,N.D. I just bought the Supercut50 and am having nothing but problems so far. It won't create an arc and now the power button will not shut off.
I am hoping to start some side jobs in my garage with my Lincoln 215XL wire feed welder and this Supercut50 plasma cutter. Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks, Mike W.

  2. Smile Everlasts tech guy Mike R. was very helpful.

My inverter is bad and will have to switch out units. I am very impressed to get such great service even on a Sunday. I look forward to dealing with you folks in the future.

    Mike W.

    Hi Mike
we called SF to let them know we need a New Supercut sent to you . Unfortunately with the Supercut there is no Low Air pressure safety shut off as there is with the PowerPlasma 50.
The power plasma would not have allowed the unit to run without the minimum required Air Pressure thus preventing the inverter from burning out.
Jean mentioned to me about burning the sets of tips and i was hopefull it may have just burned out the Torch but Mike seemed to feel it was likely damage to your Inverter.
    Cheers
