    Welcome!

I'm hoping that I'll be following in your footsteps in a few months! I bought a PowerArc 140ST to teach myself some basics, but I actually discovered Everlast based on a video from weldingtipsandtricks.com where he was using a PowerPro 256 machine, and it started me on this path

I bet we'll both have plenty of strange questions!

Welcome! It sounds like you went all out when purchasing your 256! Congratulations! That machine should come in very handy on your automotive projects. Soon enough you'll be cutting and welding with ease, and having fun doing it. This forum is awesome for asking strange or stupid questions without getting strange or stupid answers!

Welcome gman and I bet you can't wait until you receive your 256. That is a pretty impressive machine! No question too strange. The people on this forum are pretty friendly and helpful.

    Thanks guys!
I got the 256 mostly for the plasma, some aluminum, and maybe even some stainless headers later on. I have a small mig for the sheet metal. But will probably tig them for a while just for practice.
