Thread: Everlast treated me right!

  1. Smile Everlast treated me right!

Just received a new front-panel for the Powermaster 256 I received -- it had been damaged during shipment. Everlast sent it DHL from their warehouse so I'd get it time for my days off... The part and shipping were FREE~

I have never welded in my life. However, I have been practicing with some 7018 stick and I can make a half-way decent bead after only a day or two. If you've never welded, don't be afraid of getting one of these units and experimenting with it. They seem like they are pretty bullet-proof! The plasma cutter really works well, too!

Thanks, guys, for standing behind your product and for making this good equipment to us at a reasonable price!

Thanks for the comments guys, we do work hard. Sometimes people can get a little emotional and come here to vent since it is a public forum. And we are far from perfect. But we do the best we can.

If you do read a bad post you will see it was worked out and sometimes they will even admit it was them.

  5. Thumbs up Everlast follow up.

I originally purchased a Power-I TIG 200. Unfortunately it crapped out after about ten minutes of use. After some not so good communication with a sales rep. I was able to contact Oleg. This guy knows how to maintain customer relationships. After apologizing for my experience and explaining a shipment delay, he upgraded me to a power ultra 205 and even over night shipped it to me. The new unit doesn't have al the TIG settings the Power-I did, but it welds AWESOME nonetheless. The plasma cutter is a little spotty but cuts great once you perfect the technique. I have to say compared to other brands such as Miller, Hobart, and Lincoln, this thing rocks and makes you wonder why other units are so much higher in price with ABSOLUTELY NO PERFORMANCE DIFFERENCE, unless you consider the facrt that in my opinion the Everlast actually outperforms the others from arc stability to duty cycle. This is my fourth welder. I run a Hobart Champion 8500, a Hobart Handler E-Z 125, and a Lincoln quickweld. Or I should say I "used" to run those. I don't see much use in their future as the PU 205 kicks all of their butts! Thanks again Everlast for providing me with an overall positive experience and EXCEPTIONAL customer service provided by Oleg.
