Default new 205s owner with questions

Hello i just received my 205s and went to plug it in and noticed that my outlet is a 4 prong outlet ( 2 hots, 1 neutral, and 1 ground) the plug on the welder is a 3 prong plug. The outlet i bought for it is ( 2 hots and a ground) is that right? The downloaded states 2 hots and a ground yet references a white wire ( thought that was neutral) so what should i do to correct this problem.
Ps... ups strikes again face plate was almost shattered. However everlast was on it.

All welders use a white, black and green. White carries hot on a welder. Your plug is apparently for a dryer or range that runs a separate neutral wire. If you wired a red, that would go to the white on the welder.
