    Cool Hello Everybody!

Wazzup! (as my kid would say LOL)

I am new to Everlast welders but not new to welding. I'm an old shipyard welder from back in the 70's and I decided it was time to step up to the 21st. century and get rid of my old school gear. So my old Dialarc, my old HF 20 and my Hobart AC/DC Stickmate have all found new homes. I the shop sits a brand new Everlast Powertig 200DX. I am impressed. I was doing some welding for a local machine shop and they have a new Dynasty 200DX and Everlast, IMHO, successfully cloned it! The stick function was crisp and solid but the tig side of the Powertig was just amazing. Everlast welders need to be on the shelves in every welding supply everywhere!

Spark on everybody and nice to meet y'all!

Actually I did some more welding with the Dynasty this morning and I really think this Powertig 200DX out performs the Miller on AC.
The Dynasty feels like I'm always looking for the "sweet spot" but it's easy to find on the Everlast. I think I'll bring the Everlast to
this guy's shop on Saturday and weld his stuff with it.

Welcome to the forum. I too have a PT 200DX and its great. I'm not a heavy user (been TIG'in for a little over a year) and mainly use it for automotive related projects only, but it has not given me any issues and runs flawless. I just finished building some inter-cooler end tanks made out of 1/8 Aluminium.
