I was talking to a few of my fellow students at welding school today and I made a few points I would like to share.

A) Everlast has many different welders at many different budgets, I mean $250 for an entry level welder that does stick AND tig, is awesome.

B) Almost all machines are running on IGBT, which I keep reading is much better than MOSFET.

C) Strong Youtube presence showing all sorts of videos.

D) Good customer service, well so far with me, however any company is nice to you when your buying, the trouble starts when you need them to fix something or plain flat-out want to return it. I don't feel as though I would run in to trouble especially just dealing with Oleg, but I cant comment as of now.

E) My personal favorite is they have a strong Amazon presence, This helps me out because of my credit card with them, and prime membership.

Funny story about amazon and Lonegevity warranty. I called Longevity and asked if I bought the machine from them on amazon would they still honor the 5 year warrenty, and he said no. After Emailing simon, he said he would take care me not to worry which I really apriciate, and Longevity customer service has been top notch besides that, but its this kind of inconsistency that customers do not like and will not stand for. Oleg has personally told me he would take care of me if something happens with my unit, and thats why I'm going to stock my garage with Everlast. On that note, if my Hobart 250 plasma cutter doesn't workout, I will be buying my an air compressor and an Everlast plasma cutter.

Just my 2 cents, take it for what it's worth.
